Ask your Senator to support CDFIs through the Stimulus Bill!

Dear Stewart,

Your letters over the last month have helped to get a funding allocation for CDFIs included in the Senate Stimulus Bill!  

We still need your help to ensure that it remains in the legislation as it moves through Congress. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan will be marked up tomorrow by the Senate Appropriations committee.  Included in this stimulus legislation is $250 million for CDFIs. <http://org2.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=omKEwfaGbKsiHWp4c9rLFnUYu3oK9GFN>   It is critical that these provisions remain in the Senate legislation as they are currently not included in the House version of the legislation.
