Ancient Seeds for Modern Needs...
Native Seeds/SEARCH conserves, distributes and documents the adaptedand diverse varieties of agricultural seeds, their wild relatives andthe role these seeds play in cultures of the American Southwest andnorthwest Mexico. We promote the use of these ancient crops and theirwild relatives by gathering, safeguarding, and distributing their seedsto farming and gardening communities. We also work to preserveknowledge about their uses.

Native Seeds/SEARCH is grateful for and indebted to indigenousfarmers for their contributions in developing and passing on the agriculturalbiodiversity of the Greater Southwest. We provide membership and otherbenefits, at no cost, to Native peoples living in the Greater Southwest region(see map). Membership is not required in order to receive benefits.
Native Americans living in the Greater Southwest region orbelonging to tribes within the Southwest Region may receive up to 30regular-price seed packets at no cost. Additional seed can be purchased at halfprice. Group exceptions may be considered. Please contact us and we will doour best to meet your needs.
Native Americans living outside of the Greater Southwestregion may receive up to 30 regular-price packets at half price. Additionalpackets can be purchased at regular price.
When ordering seeds, please check the information on our gardening and seedsaving web pages, orin our annual Seedlisting Catalog, to help with your seed selection.
